Dear customer. thank you for asking. The air conditioning self-contained unit in each room, but there is an all heat exchanger that provides convection which goes through all rooms.

Hello, becauseeveryone has different definitions of volume so we can't promise it. But the private roomtype is equipped with earplugs for the passengers in need, and the backpack bedcan also buy earplugs from the counter. thanks~

Yes, there is locker inside the room, and you can use your room card to lock and unlock the locker.

Is there luggage storage for 2 check bags?

Hello, If you booking the single bed ,we only offed one locker for you . but this room is our the biggest room in hostel, so it's OK that you put your luggage in the room. thank you for your question.

Dear costomer, our check in time is from 4 pm to 10:30 pm because the first floor's door will lock at 10:30 pm, and we don't have night shift staff. So you have to check in before 10:30 pm.

Convenient hostel near Houyi Metro station.

Been here years ago and everything is pretty much the same just not as new. The afternoon female staff sounds friendlier than the morning's. Liked the bidets in the restrooms.

The shower temperature is still hard to control as before.

Great hostel with great location :)

We liked our stay in PaperPlane. The building is right next to the subway station and the hostel is located on the 10th floor and has an amazing view over the city. There is a free drinks machine with very nice choice of drinks (very refreshing). The dorm was spacious and clean. Our bed was also right next to the window and we had an amazing morning/night city view.

Toilets/showers are located in the common area, so you need to walk through the whole area while people are working or eating there. The female shower/toilet area was not very clean.

Amazing location and comfortable sleep!

The location was fabulous! It was located right next to the Metro station, and made for easy transfer. Lots of surrounding breakfast/lunch places too! The room was great! Big bed, comfortable sheets, great view from the bed. Love the locker safes, and the slippers they made everyone wear - I love the idea, instead of having everybody trudging around in a mixed shared bedroom with questionable shoes! Clean and spacious shared toilets/bathrooms too! Free juice dispenser at the lobby too, so we saved a little on sweet drinks when we were craving something juicy and sweet and had already gotten tired with boba (gasp the blasphemy). There were guava tea (my favourite!), apple cider (my partner couldn't get enough of that) and mixed fruit tea. The machine only operates from 7.30am till 10.30pm, but that's plenty of time. :D Huge shared fridge too, with provided sticky labels and pens :D

We had the double-bed in a mixed room - was slightly stuffy, but that was probably because someone adjusted the air-conditioner settings in the night. The couple in the next bed also had their phones on loud vibrations - the entire night; it was bearable, but slightly annoying.

Cute, friendly hostel

The staff was super friendly. We had a race and we knew that we would need post race showers after we had checked out. They were very accommodating and we only had to pay 50 ntd to use their showers and the staff watched our bags.

It's nothing that can't be fixed. In our room there was a light that was broken and flashed really brightly every 5 minutes. If you have time please look at room 5, the upper bunk light.

Clean hostel with good beds and fantastic location!

Very clean hostel in a great location in Kaohsiung. Close to the metro (exit 4) and close to a lot of cute bars and coffee shops. The rooms are big and have a fantastic view of the city. Price is fair!

The hostel isn't huge, but still quite a lot of beds. Like with other bigger hostels there is little to no social interaction with other travellers. Asian/local tourists tend to stick together, so you have to be lucky to meet other like minded travellers to hang out with. I didn't like the facts that the toilet and showers are on the other side of the hostel. You have to walk through the conmon room to get there, which is kinda annoying in the middle of the night. Also, it was a bit hard to find the hostel. I did get a message through Booking with a link to get some directions, but the link didn't work so I had to find the entrance myself. Tip: it's on the side of the building, floor number 10.

Worth the value. Clean and comfortable!

Super plus point goes to the accessible and convenient location, just a couple of mina walk directly from Houyi station exit 4. Clean, comfortable, equipped with amenities. Mini kitchen has a free drinks (juices) dispenser which is nice.

Staff service can be improved a little as they seem a little hostile :-)

value for the money

The bed was very comfortable with clean bedsheets. there was also a charging port available on each bed. the large window in the room to see the night lights was beautiful.

Getting to the bathroom. I hope I misunderstood but it seemed I would have to exit the main door then walk across near the lounge area to get to the bathroom. I did not end up staying the night because I went out with friends.
